On the digital side I now use Fuji S2 DSLR camera which was chosen for its compatibility with nikon accessories and lenses. My computer is a Pentium 111 machine with 500MB of RAM and a 17inch monitor. I use a Nikon Coolscan 11 for scanning negatives and the odd transparancy and a Microtek ScanMaker X6 for flatbed scanning. I occasionally use a Wacom graphics tablet. For hard copy output, I use an Epson Stylus Photo 1290 printer.

All my work is manipulated in Photoshop. I began with Photoshop 4 and have graduated to version 6. It is the only photographic manipulation package that I have used and, at the moment, I have no reason to want to try any other. This is because - a) It does what I want it to and - b) it required a steep learning curve which I have no wish to repeat!
