Hi! and welcome to my web site.... I'm based in North Staffordshire in the U.K. and have been involved with photography since the 1960s. I had a flirtation with fashion photography during the early 1970s and then became drawn to portrait photography. Over the years I have moved in and out of photography, both as a professional and as an amateur. Until 1997 my main interest had been in wedding, portraiture and glamour. In February 1998 I purchased a computer and learned a little of Windows 95. In May of the same year I discovered Photoshop. Since then I have given up my wet darkroom and,although one or two 'older'images are included on this site, I have concentrated on creating a new digital portfolio from scratch. The images here began as either scanned colour negatives, digital camera files or original work produced entirely in Photoshop. I have written about digital technique for the photographic press where my images have also been published.
